At the start of 2025, BPN partnered with the Youth Engagement in Agriculture Network (YEAN) to strengthen Rwanda’s agricultural value chain through targeted support for youth and women entrepreneurs. This collaboration aimed to improve agribusiness capacity, expand market access, and build supply chain linkages. Under the partnership, BPN provides business development services and access to finance for expansion for select SMEs in agriculture, while YEAN offered technical advisory support, candidate referrals, and training delivery. The two organizations are also working jointly on new initiatives, co-designing implementation strategies, and organizing networking opportunities to promote knowledge sharing and collaboration within the sector.
