Investment Readiness Program for Women Entrepreneurs
With support from the Mastercard Foundation, BPN Rwanda, in partnership with Rugori Investment Network (RIN), delivered an investment readiness program specifically tailored to the needs of women entrepreneurs. The initiative supported over 50 medium to large businesses, with the goal of training these women by 2024. BPN Rwanda was mandated to select women-led businesses in the SME sector and provided them with non-financial support, including tailored business training, personalized coaching, and strategic networking opportunities.
The program was designed to address the unique challenges faced by women in entrepreneurship, ensuring they had the knowledge, confidence, and connections required to grow their businesses and attract investment. By focusing on women-led enterprises, the initiative helped bridge the gender gap in business, promoted inclusive economic growth, and unlocked the potential of female entrepreneurs across Rwanda.
