Imbuto Foundation

Dedicated to empowering young Rwandan entrepreneurs through impactful and purpose-driven programs.

BPN Rwanda and Imbuto Foundation share a long-standing partnership dedicated to empowering young Rwandan entrepreneurs through impactful and purpose-driven programs. This collaboration leverages BPN’s strength in business development and Imbuto Foundation’s commitment to youth empowerment, innovation, and social impact. Together, we have implemented initiatives that foster entrepreneurship in key sectors such as agriculture and sexual and reproductive health. Through mentorship, training, coaching, and access to opportunities, these programs are designed to help young entrepreneurs transform their ideas into sustainable, high-impact ventures. Notable programs under this partnership include IMALI Agribusiness Challenge and the iAccelerator.

  1. The IMALI Program was launched to support 15 young entrepreneurs operating in the agribusiness sector. Implemented jointly by BPN Rwanda and Imbuto Foundation, the six-month program aims to build participants’ business acumen, enhance their market readiness, and facilitate growth through personalized coaching, technical training, and market linkages. IMALI not only equips entrepreneurs with essential tools for business success but also addresses national priorities such as food security and rural employment by strengthening agribusiness ventures that have the potential for scalable impact.
  2.  The iAccelerator (Innovation Accelerator) is another  initiative implemented under this partnership, designed to support young entrepreneurs developing innovative solutions to social challenges such as early pregnancy and mental health. Now in its sixth phase, the program offers a six-month journey of intensive business training, mentorship from experienced professionals, and financial support. This program continues to empower Rwanda’s youth to launch and grow businesses that not only generate income but also create lasting social change.
